Six Apart just released a preview of Vox Groups (let the group domain squatting wars begin). I have been waiting for this feature ever since I created the ProNet Vox blog (what you are reading now). So I invite all Six Apart ProNet members to join the ProNet Community on Vox.
One question remains: what do we do with this blog? Should we retire it in favor of the community site, or keep it around for some other nefarious purposes?
Every two weeks, we conduct an open conference call with our Professional Network members in an effort to keep our developer and professional communities up-to-date on the latest happenings in Six Apart Land, and to discuss a topic that has emerged on our mailing list or in the blogosphere. This is the first time we have made a recording of that phone call and made it available to the world.
A little disclaimer: it is a bit rough being our first SkypeCast - a technology by the way, that doesn't really lend itself to a "conference call" as we had hoped. So this is less of a discussion than typically appears, but a step in the right direction nonetheless.
We hope you enjoy it.
One day Vox will have communities - until that time, this blog will serve as an aggregator for ProNet member's on Vox. Visit this weblog's neighborhood to see what ProNet members are talking about.
